The Bulk Drug Manufacturers Association of India (BDMAI) brings together the leading manufacturers of APIs, Intermediates, Pallets, Impurities, CDMOs and other related service providers from across the country. Established in 1991 at Hyderabad as its headquarter with the aim of promoting the growth, competitiveness, and global standing of India’s bulk drug industry, the Association serves as a unified platform for collaboration, representation, and advancement.
BDMAI works closely with Central and State Governments, regulatory authorities, and industry stakeholders to address common challenges and advocate for policies that strengthen the bulk drug manufacturing ecosystem.
Beyond policy advocacy, the Association actively engages in knowledge sharing, technical seminars, training programs, and industry–academia collaborations to support continuous improvement in quality, compliance, innovation, and sustainability.
